Easter Road Service

On Friday at 10:45 the North Cheam Baptist Church held their annual outdoor Good Friday service at the North Cheam Crossroads, complete with band.

This year Paul, the owner of the Tasty Affair, kindly offered them the use of his cafe for serving their free teas and coffee to the local community. Steph from the church told the blog:
"We have been very touched by his generous offer and as a way of saying thank you we've placed an order for some of his lovely cakes to give away with the drinks. So an upgrade on the usual hot cross buns! I've tried his pecan pie and it truly is perfection on a plate."
They also held a dawn service this morning on Epsom Downs and for those looking to celebrate the true meaning of Easter, they are holding an all age service at 10:30 at North Cheam Baptist Church in Ridge Road (there's still time to get there!)
The Minister, Mike Jackson, says "Come and join us at north cheam baptist church Ridge Road to celebrate Easter Sunday. We meet at 10.30 and Lisa, our children's worker, will lead us as all ages the discover the true meaning of Easter. See you there."
A Happy Easter to all blog readers...
