Poppy Sellers Needed

Simon Densley outside Waitrose Worcester Park selling poppies
As we head towards Remembrance Sunday, there are still many vacancies for people to sell poppies in Worcester Park. There are many poppies to be sold but not enough people to sell them! If you have a couple of hours to spare and want to help the Royal British Legion raise money for our returned soldiers, please consider volunteering an hour or two for this important cause.

To volunteer, just pop into the Royal British Legion (69-73 Central Rd) and ask at the bar (ring the bell next to the door to get in). They will take your details and give you all the necessary things to start helping. If you prefer you can phone them first on 0208 337 8004. The best people to speak to would be Linda or Keith Martin or Tom Jones.

Thanks to those who are already helping and of course thanks to all those who have already bought a poppy.
