Local Man Missing

Surrey Police are appealing for help to find a man who has gone missing from his home in Worcester Park.

Grzegorz Dudek who is 24, was last seen at around 7am on Friday 1st November in Badgers Copse (Off The Avenue). He said he was going to work and starting a new job however there has been no further contact from him since.

He is described as white, with a stocky muscular build and short cropped blonde hair. He was last seen wearing a black, red and grey zipped tracksuit style top, dark grey tracksuit bottoms, a black jacket with grey upper body and white cuffs and dark brown Nike shoes with a leather triangle and velcro strap.

It has been reported that Grzegorz had been acting strangely over the days leading up to his disappearance. Officers are concerned for his welfare and need to establish that he is safe and well.

Anyone with any information on Grzegorz and his current whereabouts should call Surrey Police on 101, quoting reference M/13/1028 or call independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Update (9th December)

The body which was found on Thursday in the woods in Banstead is belived to be that of Mr Dudek. The remains were found in Freedown Lane, an isolated cul-de-sac which runs off Sutton Lane, close to both High Down and Downview prisons at 10.30am on Thursday (5th December). A  post-mortem is due to take place tomorrow. Mr Dudek's next of kin have been informed. For more information see:
