Found And Arrested

Jamie Halifax who has been wanted by the police in connection with a burglary at a hairdresser’s in Central Road and other offences was arrested on Wednesday (2nd October) at an address in Thames Avenue on the Hamptons.

Police arrived around 6pm and assisted by the local security, Paul Jackson and his rather large alsatian, Zeus, eventually found Mr Halifax, aged 24 hiding in the loft of his parents house. He was taken away at around 9:15pm as crowds who had gathered cheered the police. He was taken to a South London police station where he was remanded in custody to appear at Croydon Magistrates Court, where he is appearing this morning (Friday 4th October) charged with burglary and failing to appear at court for possession of an offensive weapon.

Jamie’s Father, Stephen Halifax, aged 46, was also arrested at the same address and has been charged with obstructing police and bailed to appear at Croydon Magistrates Court on the18th October.

can we be updated on this case as we have to live here and really don't want people like this in our community .
