Open Sushi

or
A Store is Born (at last)

The wait is over! The most eagerly anticipated event in Worcester Park has finally occurred! Born Sushi in Windsor Road finally opened it doors on Monday (18th March).

Having already had my lunch I didn't stop to sample from the surprisingly limited menu although I have always been partial to a teriyaki chicken and do look forward to dropping in some time soon to see if it really has been worth the wait!

In the meanwhile - be the first to review!

I think the two shops belong to sane owner. I saw the lady wore uniform in both shops on different day.

I tried the Born Sushi on Friday. It was really fresh and good. Then I went again for lunch on today. I also found out that the reason they had two shops was because of the license problem. They were not allowed to cook at the Windsor road. They cooked everything at the central road shop and deliver to the 2nd shop.

My wife and I tried it at the weekend, we also got to the bottom of why the one on Windsor Avenue took so long to open, they had problems getting permission to prepare hot food from the council. But they have got round that now. All the Korean food was excellent as was the Sushi, a great addition to Worcester Park.

We have ordered from Born Sushi twice, and both times it has been brilliant. Great sushi for a decent price, and so nice to have a sushi restaurant close to us. So happy!
