Over Eager Over Easter

Perhaps Southern Gas Networks, who yesterday delivered letters dated 6th January advising Worcester Park households of impending roadworks which had already started, could learn a lesson or two from John James Gardening.

On the other hand, I'm all for forward planning - but it is still early January....

Hello!

I know it's not related to this post, but has anyone been having trouble with their post? We live just by Waitrose, and the number of items we're still waiting for a couple of weeks later is large. I overheard the chap at the sorting office telling another gentleman there was a "bit of a backlog" so I'm wondering if this is a general thing.

Sorry for the off-topic post!

Post being delivered on a Sunday! You're right Where's My Stuff, there's been a big backlog of mail at the Green Lane sorting office, stuff posted to me before New Year's day has only just been arriving. I went down there yesterday asking about a £30 package but they couldn't find it - but today (SUNDAY!)it was delivered by van. Must be doing overtime.

I was in Waitrose earlier today and they have an impressive display of Easter eggs and other Easter goodies. I assumed Easter the moveable feast must be as early as it can be this year but no, it's April 24th, quite a late one, and just over 3 months away!
