O No

Sue asks:

"Is anyone else is having problems with O2 mobile phone coverage in the Worcester Park area? Mine has been intermittent for the past few days and I'm getting little success with O2 customer services.

It's not just my phone, my husband's is dodgy as well."

tesco mobile that uses the O2 network for its signal has been off and on since thursday, I thought it was just a problem with my handset.

I'm not with O2, so can't help there. But while we're on the subject, has anyone been having issues with Virgin Wireless Broadband. The signal is quite often weak and intermittently goes off and earlier this week it went off completely for about a day. Not sure if it's just my broadband or is an area wide problem??

Yes my signal has been all over the place on o2. They deny anything is wrong, and have done when its happened before. Just saying it my handset when its not just my phone with the problems.

in answer to your virgin media - that has to be equipment failure at the router if it was woring and now isnt, there are no atmospheric conditions that affect wirless signal to any major degree, call customer services and they should fix ut for you or send a new router.

o2 customers - depending on where you live there is a 3g signal blackhole between the south end of highdown and green lane. It is described on Vodafone website as a limited 3g area yet everywhere around it is excellent, ill try and find the signal map link that vodafone sent me

Yes, it's rubbish isn't it, sorry for all you folks out there also having problems, but it's nice to know I'm not alone!

I noticed an issue earlier today too - I put a foreign sim which uses o2 into my phone and the signal dropped completely soon after putting the card in - after about 5 mins it came back. I usually use Vodaphone - no problems, interestingly the rest of the house uses Tescoi and they've not experienced a problem - both phones are newish Nokias?

No, but thanks for asking

U2 have lost O2 then. Same here. Customer Services Null Point, as much use as a chocolate wok is to a Chinese cook. Luckily there is Skype (if your broadband hasn't crashed). Never mind, if you need to relax with a nice long sleep, just join the traffic at the North Cheam lights going toward the Station. If you are still there tomorrow, I'm the one bringing out blankets and a cup of tea!

Hi, I have just contacted O2. Since the 16th Jan there has been a problem with the 'cell site' which means the signal is poor in KT4. This will be repaired around the 21st Jan but they did give me a little goodwill gesture.

Hope this helps.

Just contacted O2 and they told me that there has been a loss of service in KT4 & SM3 area since 14th Jan. They said it is being repaired at the moment, but gave me and my husband 4 days line rental refund as a good will gesture. So I suggest if you're having problems get on the phone 08448090202 and ask for a refund also. Lets make them give us something for a change!
