Vin Bin Wine Of The Month

If you haven't made the trip to 'Vin Bin', Worcester Park's new wine shop (step inside and you'll understand why I call it a wine shop rather than an off licence) then I highly recommend you do.

I spent a very pleasant evening there the other Friday for one of their regular wine tastings. The evening's guest host was James MacNay whose company 'Rare and Organic' is a specialist importer of high quality Italian wines.

I went home clutching a bottle of Vin Bin's wine of the month for December, Prosecco Tappo Spago (£9.99) - a deliciously light, fruity wine from the acclaimed producer La Jara. Perfect for festive occasions or New Year celebrations and a great alternative to Champagne.

I'm looking forward to the next tasting evening, which will be a journey through the fine wines of Argentina. In the meantime, if you're stocking up for the festive season or just looking for that special bottle, pop in and see Aret and Mislav who will be on hand to guide you through their fantastic range.

Visited the shop recently and what a fantastic addition to Worcester Park. I can see lots of future visits taking place. We received some great recommendations on wines to buy and so far have not been disappointed with what we came away with. Definitely recommend this shop to any residents of Worcester Park who enjoy a glass of wine.

I wondered how this place was going to be successful given its proximity to the Sainsburys Local.
As it turns out this is the best local wine shop (yes I agree WP, "Off Licence" just doesn't fit) I've ever been to.
As well as the selection of wines they have, they're so friendly in there. Almost impossible to walk in there without them getting you to try a free sample or 2 of the latest wine(s) they have in!
And the wine tasting events are good fun...get to meet a few new people and taste a few good vinos...

What was happening on the A3 tonight?
Also is Green Lane School going to be isolated from everywhere for the next few months?
