Fine Argentine Wine

Aret and Miz, proprietors of The Vin Bin have been in touch to let me know that they have arranged another wine tasting evening before Christmas - it will be held tomorrow (Thursday 16th December) between 5:30 and 8:30 PM.

The wine tasting will be hosted by Solano Pena Lenzi from Hispa Merchants a Spanish, Chilean and Argentine specialist. Hispa Merchants represent family owned wineries, focusing on indigenous grape varieties and introducing up and coming regions.

Aret writes:

"The wine-making regions of Argentina are full of sunshine and temperate weather (we can only dream!) making it perfect for wine growing. With its Italian influence as well as the more obvious Spanish, the extraordinary range of climates and exciting resources of old wine in variety, there is some fascinating wine already on the market with masses more to come!"

Just been into Vin Bin & have to congratulate them on their 'customer service' - they are very helpful and gave good advice on wine choice. Nice to have a shop like that. Hope Christmas proves a success for them. Would be good to see the Shop Unit next door to them come into use as well.
