A massive fire has broken out in the top floors of a tower block in Kingston's Cambridge Estate, with smoke visible for miles around (including from Worcester Park).
I lived in mingley for about 13 years. . . And loved every minute! To see these pictures just tears me up as the thirteenth floor has now gone! What memories! :( I hope everyone got out safely and the memories of madingley lives on in others!

My nephew was there and saved a babys life.
I thought I'd left the grill on - then I looked out the window and realised it was something more serious. Hope no-one was hurt
MINA, they are looking for the lad who saved a baby - theres the email: drankin@london.newsquest.co.uk.
Can we now and forever refer to this day as 12/7?
Firefighters still investigating this morning at 6.45 when I drove past, and more news here:

I read that the lad who saved the baby was called Tommy Mackay what a hero his family should be proud
Thankfully, it's been confirmed, nobody was hurt.
Authorities are now investigating the cause.
