Cut From A Different Cloth

A few blog readers have speculated that new Italian restaurant 'Bellini' is actually just the old management of Silks re-opening their restaurant under a new name.

Well, I can assure you that this is definitely not the case.

The owners of Silks recently sold the lease on the shop unit to the manager of Bellini, so I can confirm that Bellini is completely unrelated to the old Silks restaurant.

Consider yourselves well and truly corrected!

If this is related to Bellini's in Sheen, it looks like yet another psudo Italian restaurant in the area - just what we need to join the other 3 or 4. It's a shame that we don't have any Italian rstaurants in the area - italian food is a lot more than spag bol!

Recently ate at Bellini’s the food and service was below par for the price.

To elaborate:

* The staff including duty manger were standing around chatting not tentative to the needs of their only diners.

* Ravioli was luke warm and when prompted was then clearly micro waved.

* Steak ordered medium came back well done due to the nature of the staff didn’t want risk complaining and get served up their negativity.

We will never go into this place again, found the staff rude and unable to take constructive feedback.

The fine dining prices are an insult in return for poor standard food and service that’s inline with a wannabe Beefeater at best.

My husband and I ate in Bellinis restaurant midweek .(located in the middle of the high street) We both had an outstanding meal. I have lived in Worcester Park for over 30 years and we've never had a restaurant of such quality. There was a great atmosphere even for a wednesday evening. We were made to feel very welcome and the service was always well timed and respectful. The food was simply out of this world, I had calfs liver with bacon and it was incredible! My husband has a fillet steak cooked to perfection! I would highly reccommend a meal her for any occasion, wonderful food and fantastic service.

ps reading a couple of comments from above from last year... I understand there is now a new chef in place!
