I predict a riot?

Well, actually I don't - but I'm hoping that a nosy neighbour reading this blog can shed some light on the police activity at the top of Lindsay Road about 6 o'clock this evening.

There were two police cars and a police van parked up, and about seven police officers with shields gathered outside one of the houses.

Any idea what this was about, ladies and gents?

Sam - it wasn't pub-related, as they were standing outside one of the houses in Lindsay Road. I milled around for a bit to await for the excitement to unfold, but they all got back into their vehicles and drove off about 6.20. Either I missed the drama, or it never actually happened...

I know all about it. The guy in question had recently put in a request to open another charity shop on the high street. The police rightly felt that violence was the only option open to them.

Actually i'd love to know what it was about as I live on that road!

I want to know what it was about too as I was on my way home from the Ocean Fish Bar (Great customer service but why is she now wearing a black scarf on her head has she got a bad do!!!!?) and they went cold. All the Fuzz vans and ambulances were whizzing past and I thought they were going to the Drill/Huntsman/Cazbar
